CHARM BAR 101! Everything you need to know about creating your own custom Charm Bar Jewelry with Ransom Jewelry!
What is a Charm Bar?
Simply put, a charm bar is a selection of loose charms that the client chooses from to design a unique and personalized charm necklace or bracelet.
How does THIS ALL work!?!
Do I need an Appointment?
Yes. Each appointment 'slot' is 30 minutes. I can accommodate 2 items of jewelry per appointment slot. Two friends each designing a charm necklace can book one appointment. If you would like to create multiple items of jewelry or bring more friends, NO PROBLEM! Kindly book a second slot. Please arrive on time. Clients who arrive more than 10 mins late are subject to cancellation at my discretion.
There are no appointments available? Do you accept walk-ins?
I will release appointments 30-60 days in advance. If you do not see the day/time available that you were hoping for, kindly DM me (via instagram @ransomjewelry), I can often accommodate special requests or fit you in. I DO NOT accept walk-ins at my studio.

What should I expect when I arrive?
To begin the experience you will select whether you prefer to make a charm bracelet, necklace or purse charm. Next the FUN part! The CHARMS! The client can pick the quantity and styles of charms that fit their personal style and taste! Ransom has an ever revolving collection of charms. I do my best to keep all popular styles stocked. You can expect to explore a selection of initial charms, spiritual motifs, celestial designs as well as styles that can represent varied hobbies and interests. Once the charm selections have been finalized, the chain style and length will be finalized and I will assemble the clients custom piece of Jewelry. The client will be able to take their designs with them when the leave!
Pricing?
Charms are $15 EACH. I recommend 3-7 charms per design.
Charm Necklace Chains are $38.
Charm Bracelet Chains are $30.
There is no additional fee for the assembly of your custom design.
Can my child get one?
YES! Of course! I generally have a variety of younger style charms for little shoppers.
Can I expose my Charm Bar Jewelry Designs to water?
Please don't! Your Charm bar jewelry is costume jewelry. Exposure to moisture, lotions, etc will effect the integrity of your design!
Where is your Studio?
For online safety reasons, the exact address is only given in a confirmation text/email upon booking. Be on the look out for a text from a 703-309 number. If you want to estimate drive time to plan a trip here, I am located in Ashburn, VA.
